OUR PURPOSE

Our Commitment

We desire to be a congregation overflowing with genuine love for God, with genuine love for fellow believers and with genuine love for those yet in need of Christ.
 
We are committed to the proclamation of God's perfect Law and the glorious Gospel of His grace through out the entire world and to the defense of "the faith once delivered unto the saints."

We seek to be led of the Holy Spirit, to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and to glorify our Heavenly Father.

Our Purpose

• We gather to worship God in Spirit and in Truth
• We teach the Bible as the infallible and inerrant Word of God
• We seek to maintain a caring, loving, united fellowship
• We desire to honor Jesus Christ and to seek His will in prayer
• We are committed to witness to the world by lifestyle and testimony

Southside Baptist envisions becoming/being a congregation of NewTestament Christians who exists for the purpose of and who are on a journey to,:

Magnify the one true triune God through loving obedience and worship directed by the Word of God, quickened by the Holy Spirit.

Make known God our Father and our LORD Jesus Christ to our neighbors and the nations by living the gospel in holiness, in love, in forgiveness, by serving others for His sake, and by proclaiming the Gospel. This is all to the end that the lost might be saved by the glorious Gospel of God's grace and become true worshippers of the living God!
